The problem with most children’s furniture is that it treats tidiness as the child’s responsibility. The Nessa set approaches it differently: the four stools tuck directly under the table when not in use, each one with a built-in cubby that holds books, pencils, or whatever needs to disappear quickly. The result is a play table that looks composed even mid-session. The round table and softly curved stools are finished in white with natural wood tops — a combination that sits as naturally in a Scandinavian-inflected bedroom as it does in a dedicated playroom. Non-toxic, lead and phthalate-safe paint, TSCA compliant plywood and MDF, scaled for children ages 5 to 8. It requires minimal assembly and earns its floor space by doubling as storage. The kind of thing parents buy for the children and quietly enjoy themselves.
