A fluted forest green marble bowl, hand-shaped in India. The flutes run all the way around — top edge to base — pulled by hand from a solid block. The veining is the marble’s own, no two pieces identical.
Less a bowl than a sculptural object that happens to hold things. We see it on a coffee table with nothing in it, on a console with keys and a folded scarf, or on a dining sideboard cradling a few stems of branch. The forest green sits well against travertine, oak, and unbleached linen — anything warm and undyed.
Marble is porous, so we’d skip wet food and anything acidic. A wipe with a soft cloth is the only care it needs. The version you receive will look related to the photo, but not identical.
