The storage bench is one of those objects that solves a problem so quietly you stop noticing it’s solving anything at all. The seat lifts to reveal a waterproof compartment underneath — the right size for cushions, throws, or anything that needs to stay outside but dry. The frame is solid teak with the slatted backrest and clean armrests that make it look like a proper piece of garden furniture, not a storage box with ambitions.
We styled it with a linen cushion and a knit throw — the cushion is sold separately but worth noting because it transforms the bench from functional to somewhere you actually want to sit. Without it, the slatted seat is still comfortable enough for a porch moment with a coffee.
Works on a covered terrace, a sunroom floor, or as an entryway bench just inside the door. The waterproof storage means it can stay outside year-round without fuss.
