The frame is aluminum, arms are oak (a real upgrade from plastic), fabric is navy-and-white awning stripe. Six recline positions, packs flat into a backpack with padded straps, insulated cooler pocket on the back, side drink holder with mesh drainage. The padded headrest is the difference between actually sleeping on the beach and pretending to.
At $160 this is real money for a chair you’ll use ten days a year — only worth it if you actually go to beaches that warrant a proper one.
